COVID-19 Update
March 10, 2020 - The Renfrew County District School Board (RCDSB) is in regular communication with Renfrew County District Health Unit (RCDHU) and other health agencies as part of our commitment to keep up-to-date on COVID-19.
At this time, there are no cases of COVID-19 reported in Renfrew County and the risk of acquiring the illness remains low.
The Public Health Agency of Canada is not recommending the closure of schools.
The RCDSB reminds staff, students and visitors to our schools to continue to take proactive measures as part of their regular good hygiene practice. That means coughing/sneezing into your elbow, washing your hands with soap and water regularly for at least 20 seconds.
We remain in close contact with the RCDHU and will continue to respect the expert advice and direction of our provincial and federal public health agencies. We continue to monitor the situation closely and will provide staff and families with updates as we receive new information and direction.
