Library

The Whitney Public School library is open to students throughout the school day. Each grade visits the library at least once a week with their teacher to sign out books and access learning materials.

Students are encouraged to keep library books in good condition (no scribbling or doodling) and to return books on time. We do not have a full time librarian; we rely on a volunteer to assist us with our library services. Therefore, we need to work together on caring for our library resources so all students can benefit from them.

Students are expected to financially compensate the school for the loss or damage to any library books.
