Parents/guardians play a vital role in the development and education of their children and in their success at school. When parents are involved in their children's education, everyone benefits.

Keeping our school and students healthy is very important to us. You can read health and wellness resources on head lice, immunizations, and what to do if your child is sick.

If you are new to Whitney Public School, you can visit new students to learn how our school will make the transition easier, no matter what grade your child is in.

Parents can become involved at the school or board level through the Parent Involvement Committee or our School Council. Volunteers are very important to our school's successful breakfast program, annual Whitney Fun Night in May, library and classroom activities. Contact us if you are interested in becoming a volunteer. We'll find an opportunity that suits your schedule.

We want your child to succeed and homework completion is important to satisfy the learning skills requirements outlined in report cards.

We have also included a link to homework help designed to assist Grade 7 to 10 students with their math homework. Several other resources are included in this section such as school supplies, our Renfrew County District School Board website, Ministry links and more.
